 Gudagott "Food & Culture academy"...

...was completed in spring 2012 after the previous viking culture venue
at Frösåkers Brygga sadly and inexplicably
burned down in July 2011.

This is a family business, run by John-Erik Kockum and his wife Malin Kockum.

Here at Gudagott the good food lies closest to our hearts.

Whether it's a simple lunch meal,

a large delicious gourmet dinner

or a course in the fermentation of vegetables,

everything is prepared with love and care!

Pure, organic and where ever possible, locally produced ingredients of the

highest quality is crucial for us.

Our own organic vegetable garden is growing for each season!

We have worked with food in altogether 60 years, and our

special skills complete the business pleasingly.

John-Erik has worked for many years as chef behind several famous stoves in Stockholm in the 1980´s, such as the Erikskrogarna,

Kickie & co, Källaren Diana to name a few, and for a good 20 years,

as a restaurateur in Västerås at Frösåkers Golf restaurant and

Portvakten for example.

Malins educational background comes from restaurant & hotel schools in Åre and Switzerland, and she has among other places worked at

"Warrenmang", award-winning vineyard & restaurant in Australia,

and for many years with her husband John-Erik, with service, wine and cooking.

She´s also studied functional medicine at NNFS in Danderyd for several years.
